JOSHUA YUNE

Joshua Yune, co-founder of JMEG Studio, is a writer and director with experience across every aspect of film and video production. After three years in medical school, Joshua made a life-changing decision to pursue his true passion: filmmaking. He went on to study in the Bachelor of Film and Television Program at Sheridan College, where he developed his craft and deepened his love for storytelling.

Joshua’s early talent was recognized when one of his first-year short films won the Best 1st-Year Film Initiative Award presented by Cogeco. Specializing in directing and writing, he has since been part of multiple award-winning productions. His short film Fairy Tale — which he produced, directed, and wrote — earned top honours at the Los Angeles Film Awards, Los Angeles Short Films, New York Film Awards, and Top Shorts.

During his film studies, Joshua gained valuable industry experience interning with Scarlett Street Creative Agency and Salman Sajun Studios, which inspired him to begin freelancing. His freelance work spans music videos, short films, and commercial projects, all marked by his distinctive storytelling and cinematic vision.

Today, Joshua continues to bring creativity, precision, and heart to every project — helping clients transform their ideas into unforgettable visual experiences.
